Tracking Code217737-072Job DescriptionEssential Functions:* Supervise the entire payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for associates.* Coordinate the weekly and semi-monthly payroll functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.* Review and approve payments, including United Way, ADP Wire form for direct deposit, tax and garnishments.* Coordinate month end close process as related to the semi-monthly and weekly payroll.* Prepare and provide monthly, quarterly and yearly reports.* Review and approve ADP invoices.* Ensuring compliance with local, state and federal payroll regulations and tax laws.* Manage ADP tax rates and resolve any issues.* Coordinate annual W-2 processing (including recording of relocation and other "one time" taxing situations).* System maintenance to include managing and maintaining payroll systems, ensuring they are up to date and efficient. Help determine and test system enhancements and improvements.* Address any payroll discrepancies or issues that arise and find resolutions promptly.* Data integrity to ensure accuracy and integrity of payroll data, including associate information, tax withholding and deductions.* Generate payroll reports for management or finance teams as needed.* Preparing for and participating in internal and external audits related to payroll.* Complete all required training applicable to assigned position.* Exhibit positivity, flexibility, creativity and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required.Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Certified Payroll Professional preferred.* Three (3) to five (5) years of payroll administration experience.* Proficient in working with Microsoft office.* Proficiency working with ADP EV6 version, ADP eTime, ADP Reporter, ADP GTL payroll strongly preferred.* Experience in working with a mainframe or network financial systems.* Knowledge of tax laws, regulations, compliance issues related to payroll.* Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary to interact with various stakeholders, resolve issues and convey complex payroll related information clearly.* Aptitude for troubleshooting payroll issues and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.* Integrity and adherence to confidentiality when handling sensitive payroll information.* Demonstrated leadership ability.
