What You Will Do...
As a Payroll Operations Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Process uploads and run off-cycle payments in SAP
Safeguard company assets
Handle emails and concerns related to pay
Assist with direct deposits, returned payroll checks, deductions and union cards
Assist with quota report processing
Send paystub copies to terminated Cast Members
Required Qualifications & Skills …
The ability to prioritize a high-volume workload in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environment
Possess strong analytical and research skills; Needs to have a sound understanding of and enjoy working with numbers
Insight to and/or previous payroll experience
Willingness to learn, go above and beyond and receive feedback for growth; Ability to learn new programs and applications quickly
Possess strong leaderships skills, takes initiative and has a desire for continuous improvement
Excellent customer service skills, ability to partner with various organizations and people across the company
Ability to handle confidential information
Excellent oral/written communication skills
Proven ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
Proficiency in working in a Windows environment; must be confident in Microsoft Office and possess very strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, sum-ifs, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications …
SAP Experience
Payroll Training and/or Payroll Certification
Previous work and/or internship experience
GPA of 3.5 or higher
Education:
Pursuing bachelor’s (or recent graduate) in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
At the time of application, must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must possess unrestricted work authorization
Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney Internship or Program
The approximate dates of this internship are June 2024 – January 2025.
This internship is located in the Orlando, FL area .
Candidate must be available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the duration of the internship.
This internship is a primarily on-site position which will require a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspace. Candidates must be able to provide their own housing and reliable transportation for work in the Orlando, FL area.
