JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Summary The Payroll and Benefits Manageris responsible for planning, implementing, administering benefits andprocessing payroll. The primary function of the position is to manageall aspects of the employee payroll & benefits. This includes processingpayroll and administrative execution of health and wellness benefitsprograms. This person is also responsible for employee complianceadministration and functional reporting. Key Responsibilities: Plan andprocess all activities relating to the administration and maintenance ofpayroll and employee benefits programs. Ensure accurate and properpayment of wages and salaries by preparing and processing salaries andreported hours worked in HRIS, correctly utilizing paid leave, andholiday pay, correctly accruing compensatory time and correctlycomputing overtime if appropriate. Ensure organization is properly setup to submit employment tax report and payments to various states forcurrent and new geographies Administer benefits programs, includingconducting analyses and serving as primary contact with providers(including group health and life), workers\' compensation and retirementplans. Be the liaison between the auditors, retirement planadministrator and organization during audits Improve internal operatingprocedures and controls for the administering and managing benefits &payroll. Maintain SOP and vendor procedural documents Effectively planand direct the implementation and administration of all benefit plansincluding annual open enrollment. Responsible for all compliancereporting and keeps abreast of regulatory changes affecting benefitplans and ensures company benefit plans and practices follow externalregulatory requirements. Prepare an annual budget for total rewards andmanage expenditures related to benefit programs. Support allcompensation planning processes in collaboration with HR and Finance.Supports the development and integration of new and/or existing rewardsprograms, policies, and procedures to ensure that programs are marketcompetitive, internally equitable, and cost effective. Responsible forpayroll and benefits analytics, reporting and system automationEffectively utilize the data processing system to obtain, store andanalyze pertinent data and information.
