Description
Responsibilities:
As a Year-End Payroll Accountant, your primary focus will be on assisting with year-end activities related to payroll and contributing to the clean-up and reconciliation of payroll data. Key responsibilities include:
Year-End Clean-Up:
Collaborate with the payroll team to clean up and reconcile payroll data for year-end reporting.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of holiday bank and vacation balances.
Reconciling Retirement Plan Contributions:
Conduct thorough reconciliation of retirement plan contributions.
Identify and resolve discrepancies in retirement plan records.
Temporary Full-Time Role
Be available to work closely with the payroll team to meet year-end deadlines.
Qualifications:
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Basic understanding of payroll processes and data reconciliation.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in a finance or accounting role is a plus.
