Position Overview:

To provide direct and indirect patient care to clinic patients and their families utilizing the nursing processes of comprehensive patient assessment, development and implementation of nursing care plans and patient education, and on-going evaluation. The care delivered will be based on theoretical principles and scientific knowledge and within the scope of the California Nurse Practice Act and the PAMF policy Plan for the Provision of Nursing Care.

EDUCATION:

Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.

Other: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

CERTIFICATION LICENSURE:

RN-Registered Nurse of California Upon Hire

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire

ACLS-Advanced Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire

PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:

One year of clinical experience.

Recent experience is strongly preferred.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. Ability to accept, adapt to and evaluate change. Basic computer knowledge and skills. Ability to work as a team member and take on a leadership role when appropriate.

Pay Range is $69.03 to $90.99 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
