Job Description
OBJECTIVES:
The Patient Value Access Therapy Area specialist under the leadership of Access to Medicine Business Unit Head; he/she would be responsible to ensure undisrupted end to end access of locally approved Takeda’s innovative life-changing treatments, and disseminate the value messages to relevant stakeholders in both the private and public sector in Delta Region.
PVA TA specialist is responsible for identify trends and possibilities to broaden access for current and future Takeda products within his/her account, while aiming for the highest standards of care
The PVA TA Specialist is responsible for the execution of business plans including activities, and the achievement of financial targets
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Execute the innovative patient value access strategy of Takeda products through the scientific information dissemination of the products’ attributes and by showcasing their role in addressing disease burden in both the public and private sector
Ensures to achieve and surpass his/her plan and Objectives: by delivering requested daily number of high-quality face to face visits to HCP/Accounts to his/her target list.
Demonstrates the adequate customer centricity to build a relationship based on trust and respect; and performs all his/her activities strictly within Takeda code of conducts and compliance.
Understand the Patient’s journey – identify risk and opportunities
Applying his/her profound medical knowledge and skills to hold daily patient-centric discussions and periodical Takeda Organized meetings with relevant KOL’s/HCP’s.
Ensure focus on public and private sector maximizing access opportunities to broaden access and improve SoC
Stakeholder mapping and engagement aligned with access and brand strategies
Regularly asks for feedback and rigorously implements the coaching recommendations from his/her superior.
Daily reports his/her activities as per the company guidelines with the system provided by the company.
Cross functional collaboration
Working closely with the Access team to:
Implement the defined stakeholder management plans/strategies defining overlap between public and private stakeholders
Report on successes and progress on a monthly / quarterly basis
EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Education
Bachelors’ degree or higher, preferably in health economics, medicine, economic or scientific education
3+ years’ experience in Pharm/Biotech company
2+ years’ experience in commercial role
Proven track record in implementing innovative access programs to broaden access
Oncology experience is a must
