About Patient Recruitment Specialist

  Description:

  The Patient Recruitment Specialist will be in charge of outreach, screening and enrollment of participants into the clinical trials at this site.

  The Specialist will be on the phone 95% of the day and will place warm outbound phone calls from a database. Once on the phone with a potential participant, the Specialist will explain the study, run through the criteria, conduct the screening questionnaire and obtain the potential participant's medical history for exclusions. The goal is to gather this information and if the potential participant is qualified, then schedule an initial in-person visit to the clinical research organization site. Will adhere to HIPAA regulations.

  Typically, there is 1 Recruitment Specialist to 1 study.

  Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  Education: HS diploma or degreed

  Excellent communication skills (both written, typed and verbal)

  Interviewing techniques

  Can work independently

  Ability to recruit and influence potential participants on the phone

  Self motivated

  Work Environment

  Clinical research organization

  Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

  Will be working in cosmetic studies

  Experience Level:

  Entry Level
