Description

The Robert Half Healthcare Practice is working with a healthcare company in the Indianapolis area to add a Patient Services Representative to their team. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and a strong attention to detail.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Responsibilities for the position include the following:

Patient Registration: Accurately gather and input patient demographic and insurance information.

Check-In and Check-Out: Greet patients warmly, verify their appointments, and prepare them for their visits. Assist with check-out procedures and payment collection.

Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling and minimizing wait times.

Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility for services.

Payment Processing: Collect and process patient payments, including copayments, deductibles, and balances.

Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering questions, addressing concerns, and resolving issues promptly.

Data Entry: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical information.

Team Collaboration: Work effectively with a team of medical professionals, including doctors, nurses, and other staff members.

Compliance Adherence: Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and policies.

Office Organization: Assist with general office tasks, such as filing, scanning, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred.

Strong customer service skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.

Proficient in data entry and use of NextGen software.
