Position Summary/Description:
Primary function of this position is to provide central check-in for patients accessing services at Campus Health. This includes obtaining demographic and insurance information on both new patients and updating information for returning patients assuring accuracy of all information. Additional duties include scheduling appointments, directing patient flow, and serving as a conduit of communication between the patient and various other clerical and clinical staff within Campus Health including Nursing, X-Ray, Laboratory Services, Pharmacy, Patient Accounts and Central Appointments. Position can float to various clinics within Campus Health as well as the Student Stores Pharmacy.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
