Rotatingweekend call) Job Summary: The Patient Access Service Representative(PASR), follows the Froedtert and the Medical College PerformanceExcellence Customer Service Standards. Greets and arrives patients.Verifies and updates demographic information. Collects monies forcopays, supplies, and services rendered. Balances daily cashcollections. Obtains patient signatures. Assists patients with ancillaryappointment scheduling and forms. Schedules, cancels, and reschedulespatient appointments. Answers and directs telephone calls. (u-s)EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION: Previous experience in a healthcare setting. Oneyear of experience as a receptionist/assistant or work in a customerservice field. EDUCATION DESCRIPTION: High School diploma or equivalentis required. SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION: Effective communication skills,oral and written required. Ability to multi-task. Strong proactiveorganizational skills a must. Must have excellent customer serviceskills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word. Knowledge ofmedical terminology and EpicCare is preferred. Proficiency in MicrosoftExcel is preferred.
