I am looking for a Patient Access Representative who would be responsible for collecting patient information, reparing various medical documents, and explaining policies to the patients as needed. Ultimately, you will work directly with patients to help them understand the process and steps to obtain medical attention at the organization. Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner during the registration process.
Collect and verify patient demographic information, insurance details, and medical history accurately.
Schedule appointments and coordinate with various departments to ensure timely patient access to services.
Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
Provide information to patients regarding financial responsibilities, billing procedures, and available payment options.
Address patient inquiries, concerns, and requests with empathy and efficiency.
Collaborate with healthcare providers and staff to ensure accurate and complete patient records.
