During the winter and spring quarters of the 2023-24 academic year theHumanities Collegiate Division and the Department of Music may havepart-time teaching opportunities for courses in the Department of Musicthat count toward fulfilling requirements in the Art/Music/Drama Core.We seek courses that focus on musical materials and design with the aimof making students acquainted with the processes of music composition.

Responsibilities will include preparing class lectures, holdingregularly scheduled office hours, and the preparation and grading ofassignments and testing materials.
Minimum qualifications are a master\'s degree or equivalent (PhDpreferred) in music or a related field, and at least one year ofexperience teaching at the university or post-secondary level.
Depending on the curricular needs of the department, the successfulcandidate may teach between one and four courses per academic year. In2023-24, the per-course salary is \$7,538. This position is not benefitseligible.
