Visiting Angels of Virginia Beach is Seeking a Dependable Caregiver to cover part-time shifts over days or nights!

　　At Visiting Angels, we believe that the best place for a senior to age gracefully is comfortably at home. This position is perfect for parents with kids in school or a retiree looking for extra income!  We have shifts open from 8a-12p, 10a-2p or 4p-8p.  

　　Benefits of Being a Caregiver:

　　Starting pay (for PCA, HHA, and NA) is $14-$17/hr, for CNAs $14.50-$18/hr

　　At Home Caregiver Responsibilities:

　　Provide non-medical assistance to seniors in their homes

　　Provide mobility assistance, such as walking and transfers 

　　Monitor medication schedules and provide reminders 

　　Monitor fluid intake and output 

　　Personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming

　　Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation tasks  

　　Monitor patients overnight, assisting with mobility challenges and transfers 

　　Job Requirements:

　　Must be 18 years or older to apply   

　　Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required  

　　Must have a current CNA, NA, PCA, or HHA certification, or be willing to obtain one prior to starting work*

　　Current PPD 

　　Must be self directed and able to work with minimal supervision 

　　Able to pass drug screening and criminal background check
