Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Part-Time Academic Advisor position.  The Part-Time Academic Advisor provides one-on-one as well as group academic, career and college transfer advising to students resulting in a heightened level of student engagement, comprehensive decision-making and utilization of a vast array of services to support student success.

　　This position is 5 days per week with a total of 25 hours per week.  During peak times, employee may work up to 29 hours. Hours are Monday through Friday with a Saturday rotation.  Both day shift and evening shift are available.  

　　*This position has college-wide responsibilities* *and requires travel between all campuses and off-site locations.**

　　This position requires the candidate to submit the following 3 clearances as a condition of pre-employment: Child Abuse Clearance, PA State Police Check, and FBI Fingerprints**

　　Master's degree from an accredited institution required.Demonstrated knowledge and implementation of student development theory, including career and transfer decision making.Experienced in developmental or college level advising.Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of technologies.Evidence of continued professional growth and development.```{=html}
