　　JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

　　The Pennsylvania State University is seeking to hire part-time administrative support.

　　The applicant will assist in ancient DNA data generation and bioinformatics analysis tasks ongoing in the Perry anthropological genomics laboratory.

　　The mission of the Matson Museum of Anthropology (https://matson.psu.edu) (https://matson.psu.edu/) is to support the teaching, research and outreach activities of the Department of Anthropology and the College of the Liberal Arts at The Pennsylvania State University. Our goal is to educate students about the rich diversity of contemporary and ancestral human cultures, the history of human evolution, and scientific explanations for human cultural and biological variability. The Museum displays archaeological and ethnographic objects from around the world and replicas of human and early hominid skeletal remains. Of particular note is the museum’s unique collection of one-hundred-year-old pottery made in villages around the world.
