  As a Parks Operations Rental and Events Specialist for the City, you will be carrying out duties in accordance with established policies and procedures while interacting frequently with department personnel and the external public.

  Essential duties and responsibilities include:

  Perform maintenance, repairs, renovations, and replacement of general handyman items, play areas, and all other outdoor facilities.Ensures all rental facilities are cleaned to departmental standards, stocked, and ready for use.Opens and closes reservation facilities; checks and locks all doors when the facility is closed.Repairs and maintains City Park buildings and rental facilities and equipment.Responds to park patron routine inquiries and enforces park rules and regulations.Qualifications and Skill Requirements:Formal Education:High School diploma or equivalent.Relatable Work Experience:Three (3) years of experience in constructing and maintaining park properties.Training, Licenses, and Certifications:Valid Class B Texas driver's license.Preferred Qualifications:Three (3) years of experience in customer service.Disclaimer: Unless otherwise stated, applicants are permitted to substitute two years of related full-time experience for one year of higher education or one year of related higher education for two years of experience to meet the minimum requirements of the job. One year of full-time experience is define as 30 or more hours worked per week for 12 months. One year of higher education is defined as 30 credit hours completed at an accredited college or university.

  Benefits Overview:
