About Parent Educator

　　Parent Educator Summary of Position: The Parent Educator is responsible for working with Parents as Teachers families in their home providing information, support and encouragement to parents to aid their children in their development during the crucial early years of life (prenatal to age 5 years old). Educators will be responsible for providing personalized visits, screenings, and resources to families enrolled.Cover Monroe and Lucas Counties, with office in AlbiaFull time position-40 hours/weeklySome flexibility in daily scheduleBenefits include Paid Vacation and Sick Leave; Health, Life, Dental and Vision; IPERSFingerprinting and background check required Education: Applicants must hold (at minimum) an Associates degree in health, education, or human services field from an accredited college or university and/or five years of experience in working with children and families.
