Description We are seeking a Paralegal to join our team in DeLand, Florida. In this role, you will draft and review legal documents, assist with administrative tasks, and manage cases for the firm. This role is within the legal industry, and you will be working on-site at our law firm.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting estate planning documents, deeds, trusts, and probate and guardianship pleadings for review

• E-filing pleadings with the Court through the e-filing portal

• Assisting with administrative tasks such as calendar management and billing functions

• Utilizing case management software to organize and manage cases effectively

• Applying knowledge of probate law and estate planning in daily tasks

• Drafting legal documents, pleadings, letters, and correspondence as needed

• Managing probate and estate administration processes

• Utilizing strong written and oral communication skills to interact with clients and other legal professionals

• Meeting deadlines and managing time effectively

• Maintaining a well-developed understanding of basic law firm bookkeeping practices. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal

• Proficient in Case Management Software

• Capable of carrying out Billing Functions effectively

• Skilled in Calendar Management

• Have a strong understanding of Probate Estate Administration, Probate, and Probate Law

• Experience in Estate Planning is required

• Proficient in e-File and e-Filing systems

• Ability to Draft Legal Documents, Draft Pleadings, Draft Letters, and Draft Correspondence

• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Able to work independently and in a team setting

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Must possess critical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Bachelor's Degree in Law or related field is preferred.
