Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Dallas, Texas. This role involves managing and processing accounts payable, utilizing various skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and invoice coding. The position operates within the telecom provider sector and provides an opportunity to contribute to our accounting function.

Responsibilities:

• Thoroughly process accounts payable transactions

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and financial tracking

• Ensure accurate coding of invoices for appropriate categorization

• Conduct regular checks and audits of financial data

• Maintain an organized system for accounts payable documentation

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth financial operations

• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to accounts payable

• Communicate with external vendors as needed, ensuring professional and timely correspondence

• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to financial policies and guidelines

• Continually strive for process improvement within the accounts payable function. Requirements • Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures.

• Experience in coding invoices is necessary.

• Must have a strong understanding and practical use of Microsoft Excel.

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong numerical accuracy and ability to spot discrepancies or errors.

• Ability to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.

• Must have a high level of integrity and dependability.

• Must be adaptable and open to learning new systems and processes.
