Job Description
Pay Rates Starting between: $40.00-44.00/ hour
The purpose of this job is to assist the General Counsel and Sr. Paralegal
Review and analyze corporate contracts and provide feedback to General Counsel
Assist General Counsel with contracts and case-related questions, and miscellaneous needs on a day-to-day basis
Review and analyze lease provisions and provide feedback to General Counsel
Draft agreements, terminations, cease and desist, and collection letters
Maintain the internal contract database and the compliance database
Perform legal research for specific state and federal regulations
Draft correspondence
Research real estate-related questions/issues
Assist Sr. Paralegal with court-related pleadings and documents
Communicate with staff and vendors to provide detailed and confidential information and support
Assist with organizing and scheduling meetings
Model behaviors that support the company’s common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level
Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent certificate required Associate (Preferred) Paralegal Certificate from ABA approved Program
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required, including Word and Excel Familiar with Pacer
Ability to collaborate and work as a member of a team Highly organized with attention to detail Ability to balance multiple priorities Professional demeanor when communicating in person, email, or phone Excellent written and verbal communication skills
