In this role, you will be the responsible specialist to understand advanced workflows and needs of our customers and support the advanced portfolio where knowledge and expertise in target segment applications is required. You will be responsible for product demonstrations, trainings and application support for our life science research and material science customers, account managers and sales specialists in all areas of their sales activities to increase our win rate, revenue and market share.

　　Your responsabilities :

　　Provide product demonstrations, training and application support on the Advanced imaging and analysis portfolio for target segment

　　Train, educate and support sales force in demonstrating and delivering value propositions through best-in-class demonstrations, application and product knowledge support during customer visits, workshops, exhibitions, courses and other customer- facing activities.

　　Co-develop and execute new marketing activities or collaterals (e.g. digital training materials, application notes, seminars, workshops, customer events, webinars and exhibitions; virtual and on-site) in close collaboration with Marketing Managers

　　Support and drive training program to enhance associates’ skills in Demonstrations & Presentations

　　Contribute to and shape a culture of Diversity, Transparency and Integrity within your organization and act as a role model within Leica Microsystems.

　　Your profile :

　　Master’s degree in Materials or Life Sciences with electron microscopy sample preparation and imaging as the main tools or multiple years of field experience in a comparable role of microscopy system sales or application.

　　Multiple years of hands-on experience in the field of electron microscopy and specimen preparation workflows, preferably in Materials science (polishing and ion beam milling).

　　Knowledge of sample preservation and processing techniques as conventional techniques (chemical fixation, ultramicrotomy, critical point drying, coating) and cryo-methods (plunge-freezing, high pressure freezing (HPF), Freeze-Fracturing, cryo-ultramicrotomy and freeze substitution) are a plus.

　　Experience in light microscopy is a plus.

　　First-hand knowledge of electron microscopy imaging (TEM, SEM), preferably for characterization of materials are a plus

　　Démonstrations de produits, des formations et un support d'application sur le portefeuille d'imagerie et d'analyse avancées pour le segment cible.

　　Soutenir et animer un programme de formation pour améliorer les compétences des associés en démonstrations et présentations

　　Votre profil :

　　Master en matériaux ou en sciences de la vie avec la préparation d'échantillons et l'imagerie par microscopie électronique comme outils principaux ou plusieurs années d'expérience sur le terrain dans un rôle similaire dans la vente ou l'application de systèmes de microscopie.

　　Plusieurs années d'expérience dans le domaine des flux de travail de microscopie électronique et de préparation d'échantillons, de préférence en science des matériaux (polissage et préparation par faisceau d'ions).

　　Connaissance des techniques de conservation et de traitement des échantillons comme les techniques conventionnelles (fixation chimique, ultramicrotomie, séchage au point critique, métaliseur) et les méthodes cryogéniques (congélation en plongée, congélation haute pression (HPF), lyophilisation, cryo-ultramicrotomie et substitution par congélation) sont un plus.

　　Une expérience en microscopie optique est un plus.

　　Une connaissance directe de l'imagerie par microscopie électronique (TEM, SEM), de préférence pour la caractérisation des matériaux, est également un plus
