Job Summary

　　OVHcloud is seeking a detail-oriented paralegal to join the legal team of our fun, fast-paced and growing global technology company. This is an important role within the legal team. This position will be responsible for a variety of compliance-related activities and special projects.  The successful candidate will be a self-starter and good collaborator, detail-oriented with excellent follow-through, possess an enthusiastic attitude, and have strong organizational and communications skills.

　　Essential Duties & Responsibilities

　　Responsible for copyright infringement claims under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

　　Act as the primary point of contact for law enforcement requests.

　　Manage the contract life cycle for expiration, cancellation, termination, and renewals.

　　Responsible for the administration and ongoing maintenance of internal legal systems/tools.

　　Meticulous data-entry of various types of information, including that of which is highly confidential.

　　Manage the contract approval process to ensure key stakeholders are identified for signature. Follow up as needed to ensure fully executed contracts are documented within a reasonable timeframe.

　　Review and interpret contract terms and obligations. Clearly articulate risk exposure to business stakeholders.

　　Investigate contract details to support next steps in the contract approval and dispute processes.

　　Understand, communicate, and reinforce the contract routing/approval process and procedures.

　　Continuously improve the contract management process, which includes researching and implementing new contract management system(s).

　　Manage and configure internal systems to provide solutions for various department and operational needs.

　　Manage the contract database to ensure accuracy and completeness.

　　Track and monitor non-standard contract exceptions,

　　Provide legal team metrics according to a defined cadence (i.e., weekly/monthly/quarterly).

　　Respond to general contract inquiries from business stakeholders.

　　Create and update PowerPoint presentations.

　　Provide regulatory, compliance, and corporate support to the legal team.

　　Minimum Requirements

　　Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and relevant years of experience

　　2+ years of experience as a Paralegal

　　Experience within a technology environment preferred

　　Experience with contract lifecycle management systems preferred

　　Experience with compliance-related activities preferred

　　Excellent project management/coordination skills

　　Excellent written and verbal communications skills with demonstrated proficiency in the MS Office suite

　　Strong analytical and organizational skills

　　Desire to learn the business and identify areas for improvement with the innate drive to enhance efficiency

　　Resourceful and determined to develop positive working relationships within the business

　　Keen business sense and understanding of standard contract and legal terms

　　Ability to communicate contract processes and procedures to others and to identify required improvements to established contract processes and procedures

　　Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and dedication to adhering to deadlines

　　Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work product

　　Flexibility and willingness to work on a wide range of projects

　　Ability to maintain strict confidentiality when communicating or handling sensitive employee and/or company information.

　　Proficiency in Salesforce, Concur, SharePoint and PowerPoint

　　Notary public desirable
