　　Fluidra is seeking a Manufacturing Data Engineer to join our team at our Value Improvement Design to Value ( VI DtV ) Team in Atlanta , G A.

The role of the Manufacturing Data Engineer will be to contribut e to optimize our products , to make them more efficient and to better use the natura l resources . Primary responsibility will be to create and organize the information related to the products being analyzed , to facilitate identification of value improvement opportunities that in turn, can become projects related to any of our products globally .

　　Your responsibilities:

　　Work with VI DtV Team to create a database of all components and processes involved in making the Fluidra products .

　　Work with VI DtV Team to perform purposeful product teardowns, component s identification and cost determination .

　　Work with the rest of the VI DtV Engineering Team to make sure all components are included in the cost analysis .

　　Become the key member of the Value Improvement Engineering team for should-cost definition of all type of components (Plastic, Metal, Electrical and Electronic components, sub- assemblies and finished goods ) .

　　Understand and characterize the manufacturing processes for any component.

　　Work with suppliers and Contract Manufacturers to understand their manufacturing processes and costs for each component in our products .

　　Analyze Fluidra products to understand how they are made, and their ideal cost based on how and where in the World they are fabricated and assembled .

　　To succeed in this role, you’ll need a positive attitude and the following:

　　Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience .

　　5 or more years of product engineering documentation experience (Costed BOMs, assembly and component level drawings and specifications) .

　　Extensive knowledge of various types of manufacturing processes (Injection molding, Metal stamping, painting, assembly, etc) .

　　Knowledge of how total component cost is determined, tooling cost and electro-mechanical assemblies’ cost.

　　Ability to clearly communicate and to present with impact and clarity .

　　A background in pool products is a plus.

　　Previous experience in Manufacturing processes , Sourcing, or Purchasing are desirable .

　　Design experience with Value Analysis / I mprovement of consumer products is plus .

　　Strong computer and data analysis skills including Excel, Database s, and statistics .

　　Highly organized, f lexible, and able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously .

　　We need a team player with strong initiative, good interpersonal skills, and who is self-motivated .
