　　We are looking for a talented Packaging Technician (1st Shift) to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our BUSINESS SEGMENT in Mineral Point, WI

　　In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Under minimal supervision supports site-level packaging operations with activities ranging from daily packaging operational activities to implementing packaging-related changes that result in efficiency, cost saving and/or sustainability improvements. Leads site activities on supplier packaging to assure compliance with global standards. Input Packaging Data Sheets (PDS) into the Packaging Data Management System (PDMS). Manages site-level returnable packaging program by keeping an accurate inventory of all components within the program. Uses the Cummins Quality Management System (CQMS) Material Non-Conformance (MNC) process to submit claims for supplier packaging non-conformances as required. Stops work and immediately reports any major injury hazards, work-related Injury, illness, or incident. Complies with HSE standards, policies, procedures & regulations. Follows all applicable standard work, work instruction/process documentation and established quality procedures. Skills Decision quality - Making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward. Operations Integration in Industrial Packaging - Demonstrates and applies knowledge of manufacturing process, equipment, and the physical flows of inbound parts to finished goods to establish industrial packaging methods and equipment that integrate safely and efficiently into the operational environment. Environmentally Sustainable Packaging Principles - Outlines the environmentally sustainable packaging material selection and its life cycle impact by describing selection criteria, performance considerations, and application in designing in order to achieve the goal to reduce, reuse, recycle or reclaim.. Packaging Material Knowledge - Demonstrates the benefits of using different packaging mediums by articulating their physical properties, types, and characteristics to select the packaging materials for the application, product protection, cost, and impact on the environment. Education, Licenses, Certifications

　　High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

　　This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

　　Experience

　　Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience in a related field. Work scope includes current product and VPI; raw material, WIP, and FG. Organize site PDS reviews and provide feedback on PDS change requests and follow-ups. Develop and implement packaging plans and work instructions for site packaging activities. Work and support with other logistic partners as the point of contact packaging representative site, like quality, HSE, etc. Job LOGISTICS
