Minimum/Required Qualifications DVM or equivalent degree. Completedresidency training in the Cardiology specialty of the American Collegeof Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) or the European College ofVeterinary Internal Medicine (ECVIM). Qualified to sit for the ACVIM orECVIM certifying examination in Cardiology. Completion of thesecredentialing is required for appointment at the Association level.Three years of clinical experience in cardiology, including duringresidency training and evidence of some classroom/clinical teachingexperience are required for Assistant Professor. Ten years of thisexperience are required for Associate Rank.
