About Outside Sales Representative - Fayetteville

  Position Description: The Field Sales Representative is responsible for calling upon customers and potential customers in the Fayetteville, NC area for the purpose of demonstrating and selling Company products and services as specified in a separately executed Field Sales Representative Agreement (Agreement) and in the Sales Policies and Standard Operating Procedures as amended from time-to-time.

  Responsibilities: Field Sales Representative responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  In-person sales calls upon existing and potential customers at customer's places of business to demonstrate and solicit orders for Company products and services.Use of email, internet and ability to access Company websites and other digital resources to aid sales and to communicate with executive and sales management, operations, customer support and other personnel.Knowledge of the Company's products, services and their applicability to customers.Knowledge of the Company's operating procedures including the procedures for filling orders, shipment, credit, billing and collection.Follow all precautionary statements and use proper personnel protective equipment when specified by Safety Data Sheets (SDS) or other approved documentation.Knowledge of and compliance with the Company Employee Manual and with the Sales Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.Proper use and protection of Confidential Information and compliance with restrictions in Agreement.Follow all Hazardous Material (HAZMAT) regulations and procedures and policies established by the Company.

  Job Requirements: In order to qualify for the Field Sales Representative position, an individual must (i) possess and maintain the physical and mental abilities and (ii) own or have access to the property specified in order to meet the following minimum job requirements (Job Requirements):

  Ability to speak, read, write and understand the English language and understand all Company policies, product information, SDS, HAZMAT and other regulations applicable to Company products and services.Ability to safely handle and demonstrate to others chemical products including acids and other potentially dangerous substances.Own or lease and have exclusive daily access to a private vehicle and be personally responsible for licensing, insurance, fuel and maintenance; provide adequate proof of vehicle insurance when requested.Have private telephone and internet access to enable use of Company email and voice mail accounts.Possess and maintain valid state driver's license without material restriction; have acceptable driving record; have and maintain the physical and mental capacity to drive a vehicle and be free from any medical or other condition that would impair the ability to safely drive a vehicle.Stand 6-8 hours daily, lift and carry up to 30 pounds repeatedly on a daily basis.Drive alone or with assigned sales manager up to 6 - 8 hours daily to visit new and existing customers.Ability to walk, climb stairs and access various customer locations including customer's maintenance and engineering facilities that may not be handicap accessible.
