If you're interested in a long-term contract / temporary to hire employment opportunity, there is a Sales Assistant position available through Robert Half for a company based in the Indianapolis, Indiana area.

　　Making arrangements related to travel and meetings

　　Supporting efforts to coordinate orders and ensuring completion of process

　　Generating sales reports and preparing presentations

　　Supplying superior customer service, maintaining a kind and professional manner

　　Working on and at trade shows and conventions

　　Performing other Outside Sales Rep tasks as necessary

　　Composing correspondence and proofreading materials

　　Facilitating the promotion of company products and services

　　Supporting sales teams by providing administrative, technical and clerical support

　　Requirements

　　Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

　　Experience in industrial sales is a plus

　　Recommended experience includes 2+ years of Sales experience

　　BA/BS degree in business, communications, or a related field recommended

　　Cold calling experience preferred

　　Foundational knowledge in Outside Sales

　　Cold calling experience desired

　　Strong familiarity with Build Strong Relationships

　　Excellent social skills, project coordination experience and the ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as with outside clients and vendors

　　Good understanding of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookAbility to multitask efficiently and prioritize work

　　Strong proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Program skills
