JOB REQUIREMENTS: Outpatient Pharmacy Coordinator - 28724DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule: This is a full-time, 1.0FTE, Day/Evening shift position. Monday Friday, hours between 8:30AM5:00PM. Every 4th weekend rotation. Hours may vary based on theoperational needs of the department. We are seeking an OutpatientPharmacy Coordinator to: * Help create the culture and operations in abrand new, state of the art, specialized medical center. * Beaccountable for the operations of the assigned retail pharmacy site,including pharmacy technician supervision. * Manage daily operations,maintain status as managing pharmacist per the Wisconsin PharmacyExamining Board (PEB), order and maintenance of schedule II medications,ensure compliance with controlled substance policies and procedures, andquality assurance of services offered. * Act independently within thescope of their license and areas of expertise with the help of generalpolicies, procedures and practice guidelines. * Collaborate withleadership to ensure strategic goals for the department are achieved,and operational initiatives are communicated appropriately to otheremployees. Pharmacy practice experience within a retail or ambulatory caresetting.
