Job Description
The Medicare Sales Operations team supports broker onboarding, recertification, commission vouchering, system implementations and enhancements. Work is assigned through a ticketing system that tracks requests for appointment, broker general inquiries and commission inquiries. Data entry to onboard a broker is performed in 5 systems to complete account set up end to end. The average turnaround time for processing cases is 24 hours to send invitations and 72 hours to complete processing once all information is received. Broker and commission inquiries are researched and resolved using four systems. The turnaround time for research and resolution is 5 business days. Projects will involve internal business partners and external vendors. The sales assistant will be involved in user acceptance testing and postproduction data validations.
A typical day involves checking the appointment request, broker, and commission inquiry queues. Tickets that are not started will be reviewed and started. In progress tickets will be reviewed for closure and/or researched to move the ticket to resolution. Typically, there will be 2 -- 3 hours of meetings and/or phone calls with brokers to discuss their inquiry.
This person will be doing basic reporting, which involves selecting reporting criteria. Once the criteria that's getting reported gets generated, they separate it to an excel spreadsheet, they communicate with internal and externals clients. This team is very ticket driven; they receive 15-25 tickets a day. To be successful in this role, you must have strong time management skills, and a sense of urgency.
Skills and Requirements
* 2+ years of Data Management experience
* 2-5 years working within Excel -- VLOOKUP's and pivot tables
* Experience in a regulatory field
