Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex Windows Operating System related issues and support for technical engagement with Microsoft for HP Consumer PC productsrepresentingthe business needs from HP. The successful applicant will work closely with Operating System partners and internal teams, focus on Windows issue resolution and feature enablement. Leads and/or providesexpertiseto product system teams and mayparticipatein cross-functional initiatives. Acts as Windows Operating System expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements andestablishingpolicies.Provide mentoring and guidance tojunior members.
*Responsibilities: *
Responsible for Microsoft or Windows Operating System related engagements and issue management for HP Consumer PC products.
Work closely with the development, test teams and project managers to isolate and resolve product issues.
Work closely with different functionalteamand being a subject matter expert for Windows related features or Microsoft related programs.
Proven experience on bug management, SW / HW feature enablement and related working experience in the PC (Notebook / Desktop) industry.
Specifications or requirements study fornew technologiesto be introduced on future products.
Good presentation and communication skills, being able to correctly articulate and drive complex topics to resolution back to Microsoftrepresentingthe business needs from HP.
Work within a team environment being participative and leading or mentoring whenever needed, as well as being able to work independently for specific tasks that may not involve ateam workeffort.
Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders.
Providetimelyandaccuratestatus updates.

Typically6-10years experience.
Experienced with Windows Operating Systems and Windows Features.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
Proactive attitude, strongproblem solvingskills or process improvements.
Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals and negotiate options.
Four or more years of Microsoft Windows system issue debugging, including both software and hardware issues.
Experience in Notebook/Desktop PC Preinstall image development / debugging is a plus.
Experienced with Windows Operating Systems and Windows Features.
