As an Orthopedic Surgery PA or NP, you would beeligible for additional benefits including paid time off, CME benefits,malpractice insurance coverage, and license reimbursement.Your day.As an Orthopedic Surgery PA you'll support a busy upper/extremityOrthopedic Surgeon to provide top-notch care and patient experience.Throughout the day you'll collaborate withyour surgeon,Advanced PracticeProviders,MAs, and support staff.You will practice in the clinic setting as well as St. Mary's Hospital inGrand Junction, CO, as well as an Out-patient ambulatory surgery center.This role is a combination of managing patients in the hospital, and servingas a first assist in the OR, and seeing patients in the orthopedic acutecare clinicYou'll work a 4-day work week. But we also expect excellence, whichis why we require:PA degree from a fully accredited programAt least 1-2 years of experience as a PA, including surgical assistexperience -no new grads pleaseExperience inorthopedics is preferredbut not requiredActive, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain oneAbility to successfully complete St. Mary's credentialing process
