　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　The OR Tech II is a non-licensed skilled and experienced person who is responsible under the direct supervision of a registered nurse for selected tasks in the administration of patient care within the C/S and /or operating room suite

　　You will assist with surgical procedures in scrub duties

　　You will assist in the orientation, training, and education of new personnel

　　You will assist in maintaining safe and aseptic environment for all patients

　　You will perform all related duties as assigned and directed

　　You will facilitate the provision of individualized patient care

　　What qualifications you will need:

　　High School graduate required or equivalent, college prepared preferred

　　Completion of OR Tech course from an accredited school

　　Surgical Technologist Certification preferred

　　Current BLS certification

　　1-year of OR Tech experience required.

　　Able to perform 80% of procedures

　　Participate in an administrative approved project, with at least one of those projects being an employee identified project
