  Summary This position is located at Hilltop Riding Stable of the Fort Eisenhower Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation. Responsibilities Incumbent operates a field-type tractor with attached and towed equipment. Adjusts the equipment for job requirements such as setting the height of mower blades, depth of plow blades, and the rate of application of sprayer attachments. Work is performed in all types of weather, often in an open driver's seat or platform, on hills, slopes, grades, and rolling surfaces. Performs necessary repair and maintenance work on equipment and performs other duties as assigned. Responsible for operating in a safe manner at the work site and while in transit to/from the work site. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Must have one year related experience in operating and performing minor maintenance on a field-type tractor and associated equipment. Must have and retain valid driver's license. May be required to obtain a Government motor vehicle operator's permit. PCS Costs Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest. FWS Allowances and Differentials This is a federal wage schedule (FWS) position. All FWS employees are entitled to overtime work for work in excess of 8 hours in a day or in excess of 40 hours in the administrative workweek, whichever provides the greater benefit to the employee. Regular full-time, regular part-time (to include those in a limited tenure appointment category) and regularly scheduled flexible employees are entitled to Sunday premium pay when working Sunday shifts. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 7.5% for the entire shift when a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 1500 and 2400. A FWS employee will be paid a night shift differential of 10% of the scheduled rate if a majority of the employee's regularly scheduled non-overtime hours of work occur between the hours of 2300-0800. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Non-Foreign Overseas Allowances Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
