SUMMARY:
The OCONUS Plans and Scheduling (P&S) Lead will routinely collaborate with the CONUS P&S Lead to manage the overall P&S of aerospace vehicle maintenance and utilization requirements to support depot activities. The OCONUS P&S tech will collaborate with the P&S team to develop plans and establish production schedules to meet depot induction and delivery requirements. The OCONUS P&S tech will determine maintenance capabilities and capacities to aid in developing depot induction and delivery schedules. The OCONUS P&S tech will collect on-site data from other P&S personnel to assist the site lead in weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual status reports preparation and presentations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures the Maintenance manager, Production Office, and Senior Site Management are advised of maintenance capabilities, limiting production factors, and adherence to depot schedules.
Overseas the scheduling of maintenance jobs and helps establish work priorities and monitors how completion times affect current schedule.
Operates maintenance information systems (MIS), automated maintenance equipment records, and other automated systems to schedule and monitor maintenance activities and workload to support F-16 depot efforts.
Reviews maintenance analysis actions affecting aircraft schedule and material supportability; provides recommendations and guidance to ensure depot schedule is met.
Collaborates with the site Lead to audit historical weapons systems and other program records to establish maintenance trends to improve scheduling effectiveness.
Overseas the accurate documentation of aircraft engines, munitions, TCTO, time change items, and special inspections.
Will work directly for the site lead and the Program Manager with other duties assigned at managers’ discretion.
Assists site lead in managing coordination and organization efforts to ensure support is available to meet aircraft induction and delivery schedules

Qualifications:

Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance is required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Required Skills:
High School diploma or GED.
5 plus years’ plans & Scheduling experience on fleet types relevant to the assigned program.
Must meet one of the following requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in a related field
An associate’s degree in a related field plus 4 years specialized experience
High School diploma and at least 8 years of specialized experience
Candidate must have held a USAF skill level 7 (or equivalent) in their career field.
Knowledge and understanding of applicable Maintenance Program.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Position requirements are mostly sedentary with prolonged computer use
Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to assure that the requirements of this position can be fully met
