The primary responsibility of the Operations Processor is to book loans into the banking platform system and process all essential items required for commercial and consumer day-to-day loan processing. This long-term contract / temporary to hire employment opportunity is based in the Latham, New York area.

　　Assembles outgoing wires and cashier's checks

　　Prioritizes client confidence by keeping mortgage loan information confidential

　　Become informed in many loan programs and corresponding computer system codes

　　Facilitates payoff letters and department invoices

　　Issues payments, advances and payoffs

　　Sorts department-specific spreadsheets, reports and reviews monthly scrub reports

　　Books new loans, loan renewals, extensions and modifications into database

　　Maintains codes, status dates and loan information for reporting when required

　　Files status and information within processing software system

　　Organize payment corrections and rectify billing statements

　　Check email, voice mail and other communication and respond in a timely manner

　　Assesses reports, monthly payments and accrual adjustments

　　Secures information as accessible by sorting, organizing, and filing documents

　　Confirms and returns verification of mortgage requests Requirements - Knowledge of check processing

　　Comprehensive knowledge of claims processing

　　Strong familiarity with Bank Operation

　　1 year mortgage experience is preferred for this role

　　Knowledge of document management, process transformation, and workflow automation programs/r/n/r/n - Experience working with financial institution platforms

　　At least 2 years' experience with lending or commercial and/or consumer loan operations

　　Possessing an understanding of word processing and spreadsheets is desired
