ROLE
A&P Calibration is actively seeking a qualified Operations Director to assume company-wide responsibility for infrastructure oversight. This role entails ensuring continuous improvement and the seamless daily operations of the business, reflecting our dedication to efficiency and excellence across multiple locations.
Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
Provide effective supervision of daily operations.
Manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the laboratory, achieving profit, revenue, and cost goals.
Execute supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies.
Report laboratory performance to the ATS Management Team.
Strategic Collaboration:
Collaborate with Regional Management to develop forecasts, budgets, and growth plans.
Work with Sales and Marketing teams to develop, market, and scale business initiatives.
Propose capital expenditure plans to facilitate laboratory growth.
Collaborate with the Quality Team to ensure adherence to 17025 standards.
Leadership and Development:
Demonstrate leadership in meeting production demands, empowering the workforce for continuous improvement.
Coach and advise technical and administrative staff, creating a succession plan for sustained growth.
Set goals for cross-training and onboarding of new personnel.
Provide employee performance appraisals, communicate achievements, areas for improvement, and set objective goals.
Client Interaction and Business Growth:
Work with customers on services related to Calibration.
Assume responsibility for sales and marketing of Calibration services.
Develop and implement annual plans focused on business growth, staffing needs, and spatial constraints.
Personnel Management:
Recommend and conduct terminations of Calibration personnel.
Have the authority to hire personnel for Calibration services.
Enter into agreements regarding the supply of employer services and purchases of supplies and equipment.
Quality and Safety:
Manage access to equipment and personnel in Calibration.
Ensure all services and supplies meet the highest quality and safety standards.
Requirements:
10 years of related professional experience in calibration.
5 years of prior management experience leading a team.
Prior Profit & Loss responsibilities.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Bachelor's degree preferred or a combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated leadership abilities in team management and production.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay Range:
Base Salary: $150,000 to $170,000/yr
Bonus: Leadership Incentive Plan
