Overview
The Operations Coordinator reports to the Director of Operations and is responsible for planning, directing, managing, coordinating, and supervising the programs for acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement and disposal of fleet vehicles. This includes General Operations department tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage project to select a vehicle fleet management system
Maintain all aspects of vehicle fleet consisting of approximately 120 vehicles based at our various program sites
Maintain updated vehicle list and coordinate routinely with accounting
Oversight of online lease dashboard
Process lease renewals prior to the current lease expiration
Ensure timely processing of insurance renewals, registrations etc., maintain the document files and confirm copies are placed in each respective vehicle
Work with the programs to ensure routine maintenance is completed on all vehicles
Ensure the vehicles are equipped with operable GPS and safety etc. systems
Manage annual on-street parking & handicap permit process
Manage EZ Pass accounts
Liaison between organization and insurance co. when there is an accident in agency vehicle. Ensure the appropriate people are informed and involved to completion.
F/U to ensure reimbursement of vehicle violations from staff– working in collaboration with Director of administration
Coordinate with parking lots to store our vehicles
Manage distribution of gas cards for each program
Add drivers and distribute pin #
Delete as needed
Manage Geotab System
Geotab – ensuring all programs have operable geo tabs
Adding/deleting drivers into the geo tab system
Manage payment of property taxes for sites owned by Rising Ground
Manage ECB violations including representing the organization in court and processing payments etc.
All special projects as assigned by Director of Operations

Salary: 45,000 per year
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent is required
The applicant must have a minimum of 3 years relevant experience
Valid NYS Driver’s License
General vehicle maintenance experience
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, emails and calendaring
Supervisory Responsibility:
No supervisory responsibilities
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting, but can also be required to travel throughout organization sites.
Physical Demands:
Ability to carry up to 10 or 15 pounds
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, 35 hours per week. Monday through Friday, hours 9:00am-5:00pm.
Travel:
Will be required to travel between Rising Ground sites and offices as necessary
Preferred Education and Experience:
A bachelor’s degree is preferred
