Position Description
The Sales Account Manager II – New Business Development (remote) will be responsible for securing new, profitable business for Refresco North America. The Account Manager will be responsible for finding and developing leads, pricing, negotiating contracts and managing long term relationships with new clients. They will also be the lead on creating and maintaining a new business pipeline model across all categories, building out a prioritization by geography and driving those targeted new business opportunities towards under-utilized manufacturing lines with the Refresco North America network. In addition, the Account Manager will be required to attend and run trade shows across North America to build “Refresco” as a brand within the Contract Manufacturing space. The Account Manager must possess a strong knowledge of all available cross functional resources to develop mutually beneficial and profitable business recommendations for both Refresco Beverages and the customer. The ideal candidate should have a genuine curiosity about the beverage space and a solid understanding of the supply chain.
Essential Functions:
Establish an annual account plan and execute specific programs that are designed to achieve profitable sales volume, drive investment and secure long-term business for underutilized assets within the company.
Develop strong business relationships with new and existing accounts across their various functions, levels, and business units to ensure that the annual account plan and objectives are met.
Analyze various data sources/insights to identify business opportunities that effectively grow the business and present internally for potential commercialization.
Collaborate with the Supply Chain and Demand Planners to provide insight into upcoming demand changes to ensure the most accurate forecast possible.
Make recommendations that ensure the achievement of both the customer and Refresco. sales and financial objectives.
Accountability for the management of all financial budgets while ensuring they are managed within the guidelines developed by Refresco and immediately identify any deviations and corrective actions when situations require them.
Responsible for timely and accurate completion of all administrative tasks including but not limited to expense reports, pricing templates, deal sheets, forecasts, new item sheets and weekly reports.
Develop and maintain strong internal relationships with cross functional groups including finance, supply chain, operations, quality and commercialization to assist in effective and efficient development and execution of accounts plans.
Travel up to 50% at peak periods as per business demands.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, sales management or related discipline required.
Minimum of 2 years progressive years account ,management experience, preferably in the CPG industry with a major grocery retailer.
An awareness and applicable understanding of supply chain and manufacturing operations
Skills/Qualifications:
Experience in Food/ Beverage Manufacturing preferred
Solid working knowledge of supply chain acumen and manufacturing processes, tools and models available to support demand planning, forecast accuracy and procurement of materials
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
Proven strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to prioritize and multitask daily processes/projects to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
Proven experience working with cross functional clients, both internally and with customers
Intermediate level Excel, PowerPoint and Word is a must
Results orientated – organized and detailed with the ability to deliver
Position-Specific Work Requirements:
Ability to travel for onsite customer and team meetings as required.
Travel up to 50% at peak periods as per business demands.
Role will initially be based out of Tampa FL however may be remote based.
Must comply and acknowledge the "Refresco Home-based Job Requirements" policy reviewed during new hire's onboarding.
This position requires travel for on-site on-boarding at the onset of employment, for a period of 2 weeks, possibly longer.
Due to the impact that this role has on Refresco North American operations, travel on short notice to provide business critical support may be required.
