  Salary: $80,000 - $85,000

  Job Summary

  The Controller is responsible for the financial management of the company, overseeing financial reporting, cash handling procedures, and maintaining inventory and cost control procedures. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and organizational skills, with experience in revenue control, financial reporting, and cash handling responsibilities.

  Responsibilities:

  Develop and maintain financial reporting systems, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

  Manage cash handling procedures, perform reconciliation and analysis for several balance sheet accounts.

  Track and maintain monthly P/L and balance sheet activity and develop forecasts and budgets.

  Review general ledger and balance sheet and resolve accounting/reconciliation issues.

  Prepare financial reports for internal and external use, including monthly and fiscal close, internal, and external audit reporting, report preparation and distribution.

  Maintain inventory and cost control procedures.

  Manage payroll and human resources administration.

  Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.

  Preferred Requirements:

  Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred, or equivalent professional experience

  A minimum of 5 years' experience with revenue control, financial reporting, and cash handling responsibilities, at least 3 years in a similar capacity

  Accounting experience in foodservice or retail industry required, foodservice operations experience a plus.

  Experience with sales analysis and reporting

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and relationships.

  Proficient in Microsoft Office with a concentration in Excel. POS experience a plus

  Strong analytical and organizational skills.
