Operations Associate Nonprofit $70k

My client is a nonprofit mission based organization located in downtown Washington, D.C. with a newly created role for an Operations Associate. Due to grow they have created this exciting new opportunity that will support the Executive Director and assist with tracking membership dues and preparing invoices. The Operations Associate role will also manage office operations and be the point of contact for vendors. Candidates with a BS/BA degree and experience in executive support are highly encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate for the Operations Associate would be local to the Washington, D.C. area and have experience in administrative support and operational accounting. The Operations Associate will be responsible for the following duties:
· Calendar management, scheduling, travel arrangement, and all logistics coordination for the Executive Director
· Data entry for invoices
· Prepare and sending out invoices
· Process refunds
· Record payments in database
· Manage deposit process for checks
· Manage accounts receivable
· Generate monthly reconciliation reports
· Assisting in special projects, including planning events and engagements
· Managing and updating Salesforce database
· Editing and proofreading documents in MS Word

Requirements
Requirements:
2 + years experience in a similar role
Must have calendar management and travel arrangement experience
Proficient in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, & Excel
Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
Stable job history
Experience working for a nonprofit is a plus
Paylocity software experience is a plus
