　　We have an immediate need for a Team Member to join us in our Asphere Production Department. In this role, you will play a key part in manufacturing Aspherical Optical components, utilizing some of the industry’s best CNC Optical fabrication equipment. Along with the Fabrication equipment, you will also be trained in the metrology of high precision optics, using optical profilometers and Interferometry. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with skilled professionals, leverage advanced technologies, and contribute to the success of Raytheon ELCAN.

　　Primary Responsibilities:

　　Knowledge of using measuring tools: calipers, micrometers

　　Must be skilled in the use of the metric system and imperial

　　Ability to understand and follow work instructions

　　Experience in handling or assembling small parts with exceptional finger dexterity

　　Good visual acuity to spot imperfections in the parts or assemblies

　　Experience with the handling of optical components, as well as understanding of optics surface quality specifications is a definite asset

　　Share in the commitment towards a positive workplace culture

　　Qualifications & Experience:

　　Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma

　　Highly effective communications skills

　　Proven ability to solve technical problems and make sound decisions

　　Highly motivated with a demonstrated positive attitude

　　Willingness to learn and acquire knowledge/understanding through study, instruction or experience
