  We are looking for a professional Instructional Designer to design and develop learning and practicing experiences. The goal is to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills, and competencies effectively and appealingly. As part of a global team, you will need to be able to think strategically about how to create training by role and region with a strong emphasis on execution excellence.

  Responsibilities:

  Tech Savvy ability to design and develop learning solutions utilizing modern learning methods and tools for Content operations

  Utilize sound instructional design methodologies to develop complex (e.g., guided discovery, case method, problem-based, game-based, competency-based approaches), high-quality, and innovative instructional materials and learning solutions

  Select and use appropriate techniques to define and sequence instructional content

  Collaborate with global teams and subject matter experts on course design, development, and delivery

  Develop and maintain training materials, documentation, manuals, job aids, quick-reference guides, and other training aids

  Responsible for staying current on policies & procedures, knowledge & skills relative to Nielsen strategy, values & direction.

  Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is current, accurate, consistent

  Openly and respectfully engage in all discussions about training issues; provide solution-based input and make logical recommendations.

  Qualifications:

  Minimum two to five years of experience with instructional design and development of adult education programs including, but not limited to, courses that are delivered virtually, in-person, and online.

  Experience with learning technology including media design, authoring software, and gamification experience or similar is required.

  Advanced skills with Easygenerator, Absorb Create, Articulate Storyline, Rise, or other similar software.

  Prior experience working with Learning Management Systems, user support, and program management.

  Must present a portfolio of demonstrated work in education development and design

  Highly proficient in speaking and writing English

  Excellent written, verbal, critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills

  Strong project management experience, must be able to self-manage and prioritize projects with little supervision
