  Job Description Summary

  The role involves managing various facility and financial operations. As a highly dynamic administrative position, we are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, proactive, highly adaptable professional, able to work well with others as well as independently in a diverse and evolving work environment. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced sometimes high-noise setting while maintaining focus and productivity. The role requires a team player mentality, shouldering additional responsibilities as needed, and being comfortable working around dogs in an active training environment.

  Job Description

  Overall responsibilities include managing various financial transactions, generating contracts, tracking grant spending, handling purchasing needs, tracking inventories, maintaining databases, monitoring equipment performance, and organizing facility logistics to ensure daily operations run smoothly. You will coordinate with multiple departments developing rules and procedures to identify areas for continuous improvement in process optimization and best practices. Tackling unexpected challenges and multitasking are the norm.

  Job responsibilities include:

  Assist in report management on behalf of the Center, and managing expenses specifically for Center operations and grants and manage receipt and tracking of Operating Revenue

  Handle purchasing for the Working Dog Center Grants and Operations needs and manage inventory

  Handle Contract support and Invoices for individuals and organizations doing business with the Center

  Assist in the day to day operations of the Center including coordination of equipment needs, repairs and facility work orders.

  Manage the front desk of the Working Dog Center including answering phones, responding to general inquiries and mailings as it relates to our overall program

  Perform additional duties as assigned

  This position is contingent upon grant funding.

  Qualifications

  High School Grad/GE Degree and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

  The applicant should have excellent communication skills, be proactive, detail oriented and thorough as well as demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills. Prior experience in financial reporting, administrative coordination, program operations and inventory/purchasing are critical. A proven track record in project management and achieving results in multiple projects with overlapping timelines is preferred. Being comfortable around dogs is essential as is the proven history of working in a fast-paced environment with noise, distractions, and the need to adapt to change.

  $20.45 - $24.04 Hourly Rate

  Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
