　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　At Henrico Doctors’ Hospital, our OR Registered Nurses circulate cases as it relates to the OR scope of care. In addition to exercising sound judgement and decision-making skills on behalf of patient, self, and peers, you will also develop these skills on a daily basis by providing quality care to each patient based on individual needs. We are an amazing, hardworking team who is looking for a phenomenal addition like you!

　　You will communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers as well as document required information according to hospital policy

　　Our nursing staff is expected to present themselves in a professional manner

　　As an OR RN, understanding principles of aseptic technique and requirements for scrubbing cases as it relates to unit scope of care is a key responsibility

　　You must function in an organized and time conscious manner

　　You will demonstrate competency in providing patient/family education

　　Requirements

　　Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)

　　Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license

　　Current BLS certification

　　Required: completion of Peri-Operative course or previous experience as an OR nurse
