  We are currently recruiting a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to teach in the PMHNP specialty DNP program.

  The incoming faculty will teach and maintain an active clinical practice, taking advantage of our resource allocation plan (percentage of time for teaching & practice is individually determined). The combination of teaching & practice is a fundamental component of our educational mission.

  Columbia University offers a competitive salary & outstanding benefits package. The selected individual will receive an academic appointment commensurate with credentials & qualifications. (This is a non-tenured faculty position.)

  Successful candidates will have a doctoral degree (PhD, DNP, DNSc, DrPH, EdD) from a recognized institution of higher education. A minimum of two (2) years of practice experience and an active Family Nurse Practitioner license and certification are required. The selected incumbent will have exemplary communication skills.   The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
