This position will work on-site at the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center
Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join our DCT Forensic Mental Health Program (FMHP) Health Services Team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as an Office and Administrator Specialist, Senior! This position will provide administrative, clerical, and accounting services for FMHP and other departments as assigned.
Primary responsibilities:
Perform administrative support and clerical duties to ensure the needs of the medical staff, psychiatric staff, dental staff, Health Services Director, RNAS, RNS, nursing staff, and other departments are met.
Maintain Summit Clinic schedule and assist with coordinating internal and external medical appointments as needed.
Under general supervision/procedural control, provide support services to Forensic Services patients related to medical services offered through FMHP referrals, (primary point of contact for St. Peter Eye Care, outside X-rays and orthotist)
Order supplies and monitor expenditures.
Participate within the multidisciplinary team, demonstrating strong communication skills through writing and non-verbal behaviors.

Minimum Qualifications
Specialized Terminology including medical terminology and medical scheduling skills.
Communication Skills sufficient to provide clear, concise, courteous, prompt, and effective service in person and via email, phone, or video conference.
Customer Service skills sufficient to provide information to clients, staff, and outside stakeholders in a prompt concise, courteous, and professional manner.
Data Entry skills sufficient to create and maintain database records/documents and retrieve/distribute information in databases including SharePoint.
Database, Documents, and Records Management skills sufficient to create, retrieve, analyze, and maintain information in a variety of databases.
Desktop or Website Publishingskills sufficient to produce documents that effectively communicate information for diverse groups of staff.
English Language skills sufficient to read, write, understand, and compose correspondences with accurate spelling, grammar, and punctuation; and to communicate effectively verbally and writing with diverse co-workers, customers, and the general public.
Typing/Keyboarding skills sufficient to compose meeting agendas, handouts, meeting notes, reports, letters, and data summaries.
Word Processing proficiency in the use of technology and business software such as Outlook, Word, SharePoint, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.

Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work independently to meet the demands of the workload with interruptions.
Interpersonal skills sufficient to develop and maintain internal and external relationships and address needs from clients, staff, public, media, advocacy groups, or other constituents effectively, professionally, and courteously.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in dealing with information and issues that are sensitive nature.
