Charlotte Hungerford Hospital is a 122-bed, general acute care community hospital located in Torrington, Connecticut, that serves as a regional health care resource for the 100,000 residents of Litchfield County and Northwest Connecticut. The Clinical Supervisor acts as the off-shift administrator on call with responsibility for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies, and procedures of the hospital and their effect on patient care. Responsible for patient flow and bed management. The Clinical Supervisor has authority to make decisions in the areas of patient care, human resources, and financial management. The Clinical Supervisor will interact with Hospital employees in a positive and supportive manner. The Clinical Supervisor will maintain timely and appropriate communication with department Directors/Managers regarding issues/concerns that occur on the off-shifts, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications - External * Current CT RN Licensure * B.S. with concentration in nursing required. Will accept matriculation into a BSN program (traditional or on-line) within six months of accepting the position.
