  Description $5,000 Sign on Bonus for positions scheduled 64+ hours per pay period, $3,000 Sign on Bonus for Part Time positions scheduled 16 to 63 hours per pay period Be a part of the Saint Therese difference! We are seeking Certified Nursing Assistants, including new graduates, to serve seniors with compassionate, supportive care at one of Minnesota's leading nonprofit senior housing and service providers. Schedules currently available include every other weekend and every other holiday: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. (16-56 hours per 2 week pay period) 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. (16-32 hours per 2 week pay period) 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. (72 hours per 2 week pay period) The Saint Therese Difference Saint Therese is a nonprofit, Catholic senior living and care organization born out of a simple mission: do ordinary things with extraordinary love. Our compassionate services also reach seniors living in the broader Twin Cities area through home care, outpatient therapies and wellness programs. Rooted in history, Saint Therese of New Hope is our largest community. This care center has 168 skilled nursing beds for long-term and transitional care. In addition, the Residence at Saint Therese of New Hope houses 225 independent apartments and suites for assisted living and memory care. Responsibilities: The Nursing Assistant performs a variety of resident related direct care duties, such as transporting, transferring, toileting, positioning, feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming residents, encouraging highest level of independence, and validating residents' concerns. Qualifications Education: Successful completion of a State approved program in compliance with the Nurse Assistant Training Act. Must be registered with the State of Minnesota. Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Resident centered thinking, with awareness & sensitivity to resident needs, interests, & abilities Ability to meet the physical demands of position, including lifting over 50 lbs. while transferring a resident Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Working knowledge of personal computers and related software Ability to work with little supervision and make appropriate judgments Dependability, with the ability to follow direction Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job Equal Opportunity Employer: Minorities, Women, Protected Veterans, Disabled IND456 Qualifications Experience Prior NAR, HHA, PCA, or direct care experience preferred (preferred) Licenses & Certifications Nursing Assistant (required) Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
