As the Controls Engineer you will be responsible for the hardware and software design efforts to plan, develop, and execute on world-class automation solutions and exceed the quality expectations of customers.
Your Accountabilities in the Role:
Plans, develops, and designs control systems designs, utilizing AutoCAD, which include power distribution, PLC, main and station panel layouts, console layouts, pneumatics, hydraulics, and instrumentation to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Helps manage budgets and schedules, working with the Project Managers, to ensure the projects are within the budgeted cost and due dates.
Coordinates with the Controls Assembly Department during the build phases of the project to provide efficient and timely solutions to problems as they arise.
Collaborates and mentors the Controls Design Department through mentorship of Level I and Level II Controls Engineers to help build the competency of the team.
Facilitates formal and informal training on products and software to help the team learn and grow.
