Transplant and label plants and remove any damagedor dead material. Plant, spray, weed, prune, fertilize and water shrubs,trees and other plants utilizing basic hand tools. Dig, cut andtransplant seedlings, cuttings, trees and shrubs. Move, load and unloadplants, shrubs, trees, soil, fertilizer, chemicals or other plantinputs. Evaluate the quality of growing agricultural commodities.Maintain records. Rake and keep grounds free of debris. General facilitymaintenance, cleaning and upkeep. Ability to lift up to 50 poundsrepetitively.
A general work week is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.However, because of the complexity of the crop conditions workers may berequested to work long days as well as on Saturdays, Sundays or FederalHolidays, depending upon the conditions of the commodities beingproduced. Therefore, hours above 40 per week may be offered but are notguaranteed.
